Okay, don't get me wrong. I've done my fair share of complaining about His Dark Materials. But I'm re-reading it now and I'm liking it better upon the second reading. And this movie just looks amazing.
yeah!!! i'm bummed about a few things. mainly the fact that iorek's armor isn't all gnarly sheets of iron like i imagined, and is instead kind of fancy... but whatever, i can't expect the concept artists to read my mind. ;)
I am ridiculously excited about this movie; even if it isn't all that great script wise, it's BEAUTIFUL. I mean, Christ, Eva Green. I would see you in anything, I really would.
(Daniel Craig doesn't hurt either, and the girl seems positively preciousperfect.)
